Before Island Copper Mine (1971 - decommissioned 1995): Rupert Inlet, Vancouver Island, BC
 From 1938, 1958,    1975   to current.

 Island Copper Mine on Vancouver Island operated between 1971-1995.
 1.4M tonnes were mined producing 800M tonnes of waste rock and 200M tonnes of tailings which were sent into Rupert Inlet.
